Unmarked Flow Blue Bone Dish and Cereal Bowl

This matched pair of flow blue tablewares comprises a crescent-form bone dish and a small cereal bowl, both produced in semi-porcelain and decorated with softly blurred cobalt floral transfers. The decoration is framed by deep cobalt borders with scrolling detail, while the flow blue firing process allows the imagery to bleed gently into the white body, creating the atmospheric, painterly quality associated with Victorian-era flow blue.

Both pieces appear to be free from chips or cracks, with light surface wear and glaze variation consistent with age and use. Soft pooling of cobalt and minor firing-related irregularities are present, inherent to the flow blue process.
