Set of 6 Victorian Flow Blue Cereal Bowls by Stanley Pottery

c. 1890s-1910s; Stanley Pottery - Longton, Staffordshire, England

This set of six Victorian flow blue cereal bowls is produced in semi-porcelain and decorated with richly blurred cobalt floral transfers characteristic of late 19th- and early 20th-century Staffordshire output. Each bowl features a gently scalloped rim with deep cobalt edging, framing varied floral sprays that dissolve softly into the white ground through the flow blue firing process. The resulting effect is painterly and atmospheric, emphasizing tone and movement over strict pattern definition.

Appears to be free from chips or cracks, with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Typical glaze variation and flow-related softness are present throughout, inherent to the manufacturing process.
